The second issue of TVET^@Asia will be published in December 2013 by the editorial team:

Thomas Schröder (RCP), Paryono (SEAMEO VOCTECH, Feng Xiao (IBB, Tongji University), and Gwang-Chol Chang (UNESCO Bangkok).

The title of issue 2 will be Education of TVET-Teachers, the articles will mainly be based on contributions to the:

RCP International Conference on Vocational Teacher Education –
Vocational Teacher Education and Research as a Regional Task and Challenge

planned for 24 & 25 October 2013 at Tongji University Shanghai, China.

The conference will focus on four main topics, which will be subject to one panel each:

1. Development of standards and study programmes for Vocational Teacher Education
2. Regionalization and respective policies on Vocational Teacher Education
3. Praxis-orientation in Vocational Teacher Education
4. Vocational Education as a scientific discipline
